We collect the absolute minimum data necessary to create and secure your account. We rely on **Google Firebase Authentication** to manage and secure your login credentials.

2. Your Financial Data (Local Storage)
Penny is a manual budget tracker. We never see or store your financial details.
A. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
All the specific financial information you enter into Penny is stored **only on your mobile device**. This data includes:
- Account names and balances (manually entered)
- Transaction details (income/expense amounts, dates, descriptions)
- Custom categories, currencies, and language settings
B. No Bank Connections
**Penny does not connect to any bank, credit union, or financial institution.** We do not ask for or require access to your real bank account credentials or balances. All figures in the App are based solely on the data you manually input.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the collected Authentication Data **solely** for the following purposes:
- **Access:** To allow you to log in and access your account.
- **Security:** To verify your identity and protect your account from unauthorized access.
- **Support:** To allow you to manage your account (e.g., password reset).
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We **do not sell or rent** your personal information (email/password hash) to any third parties.
We only disclose your data under these limited circumstances:
- **Service Provider:** We share your login data with **Google Firebase** as our necessary authentication provider.
